I wanted to make something I could create in the evenings, sitting in front of a roaring fire with my cat.
I make each flower one at a time to sew together into the scarf, I can pick it up or put it down whenever I get the time and chosing the coulours makes it interesting for me.
It takes me months to complete each scarf.
I hand make all the flowers and then sew them together in as random a colour-way as possible to create the overall colour.
I love to make these, I create them row by row and carefully choose each crocheted flower to be placed in its final, perfect position before sewing it in place making each scarf individual and unique.

Hand crocheted flower scarf
It takes me months to complete each scarf.
I hand make all the flowers and then sew them together in as random a colour-way as possible to create the overall colour.
I love to make these, I create them row by row and carefully choose each crocheted flower to be placed in its final, perfect position before sewing it in place making each scarf individual and unique.
I like to make a nice long length of approx 175 - 195 cm, giving enough to wrap around and keep you cosy.
The width is 25cm.
As I choose the yarns for their colour, the scarf is made up of different wool types.
From Acrylic, Aran, Merino and wool blends and some recycled yarns.
Please wash gently and only in a cool temperature to keep the wools in good shape.
