Although British, I was born in Poland, so I love to combine the two cultures. Large wooden beads are traditionally used in the highland communities. I love the idea of combining the elegant, silver-tone beads with the beautiful, shiny, large wooden pendants and knotted cotton cords. I've been making these necklaces (in different styles and colours) for quite a few years now. I originally made them for myself - but as people saw them on me, I started to get requests to make them for family, friends and as commissions for customers.
