I often paint my figures loose focusing on their gestures and particularly on their movement or how they might be feeling. Normal people going about their daily lives. Working with a limited palette of Sienna, red, brown and white the figures blend well together.

Full description
I like to paint people, and I very much like to capture them moving. The dancers are drawn in the same style is use in my 'All of Us' series. I am focusing on their positions and trying to capture their movement. I have used a canvas primed with a transparent gesso, you can see the natural fibres and colour of the canvas. I've then painting the figures with oil paint wet-on-wet across a light background of sienna.
