Full description
A beautiful, one of a kind miniature bowl whether viewed from above or from the side. The simplicity of the curves shows off the natural beauty of the woods used.
The rim, middle layer and base are Cocobolo and the lighter bands are Masur Birch, a beautiful wood full of flecks of medium brown in an irregular pattern. These layers are separated by several veneers making eleven separate layers in total.
This bowl has been finished to a high sheen using several applications a shellac based polish then a final coat of wax polish to protect it from fingermarks and is intended as a decorative item and is not suitable for holding food.
An excellent gift for a loved one or for a special occasion.
