I love the shadows that are made on a sunny day, and wanted to make something that reminded me and others of those sunny days and the birdsong that comes with those long days.
This piece plays with the idea of the shadows of birds and branches. The bright sunshine is represented by the bright blue background.

This is a beautifully simple collage depicting the silhouette of birds sitting on branches. It is a striking piece with the black paper birds mounted on a bright blue background and framed in a wooden black frame glazed with acrylic.
