I am working on a special new collection of hand bound journals, created using different traditional bookbinding techniques.
There are French Link Stitch journals, Coptic bound journals, paperback journals featuring original Cyanotype prints, leather bound journals, hardback journals
These new books are being created using the most sumptuous papers ... handmade Khadi papers, rich watercolour papers, gorgeous calligraphy papers.
Some of these books have decorated fore edges ... painted with inks and gouache and some are sprinkled with gold leaf.
And when you open these books, you'll be delighted by the pretty endpapers I have chosen.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

This journal is covered with an original Cyanotype print that features gorgeous wild ox-eye daisies and buttercups.
The fore edges of the book are dyed with walnut ink and decorated with lovely sparkly gold leaf.
The pages are gorgeous, handmade paper, some cream, some buff, some natural; some are speckled, some have seeds in them.
There’s hemp, wild flower, lemongrass, spent barley and water hyacinth paper, all of varying colours and textures. This is a special little book.
The book was bound with French link stitch on tapes, a medieval bookbinding technique that revolutionised how books were bound in French monasteries. This method creates a book whose spines are strong and flexible, and also incredibly beautiful, even before the covers are put on. (Thank you to my teacher, Moneeza Khan, for the background information!)
The book measures 8.25 inches by 6 inches. There are a lot of pages, the book is well over an inch thick, and I think that this will become a beloved companion to whichever lucky person receives it.
