Pastel is my favourite way to immortalise animals.
After seeing the far away look in the monkey's eyes, and the way the hand rested under the chin I knew I just had to paint this beautiful creature.

Quiet contemplation was originally painted with pastel in 2024.
Unfortunately, I no longer have the original as it was sold first time out at an art exhibition, but I can offer a print.
I use a quality drawing paper when printing as this gives a more authentic look to the art.
The print is 10"x8" and fitted onto a 12"X10" mount with backing board.
This will be sent sealed in a cellophane sleeve and a padded jiffy bag.
