I have taken the last few months off from woodturning to concentrate on my botanical water colour work a few examples of which you can view on my Instagram account. However, I have picked up the chisels again and will be adding new items and old favourites. Apart from exceptionally large pieces my items are delivered free of charge by Royal Mail, second class.
I recently found a ceramic beehive vase and thought that I could produce a stylized version in turned wood.

Full description
A vase designed to display dry flowers using a dry foam cylinder (oasis). The piece has been turned in ash to resemble stylised beehive. A lacquer has been applied to give a durable finish. the final photograph shows another similar but smaller vase to demonstrate possible variations.
