I adore vintage ceramics and particularly old Delft designs. There is a long history of commemorative designs for weddings on furniture, ceramics and other decorative items. This piece shares that tradition creating a unique piece of art for generations to enjoy for years to come.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
These stunning panels are designed and skilfully hand-painted by me, Deborah Meredith!
I use beautiful Chalk Paint colours by Annie Sloan to recreate traditional Delft Style images, mimicking old blue and white ceramic designs. I use a captivating naive style that evokes a sense of whimsy with imaginary scenes. Around the edges and sides I meticulously add intricate details, making each piece a unique work of art. Each artwork is finished with a crackle glaze to imitate old ceramics and finished with wax to age and protect.
Each panel is bespoke, so please allow up to 6 weeks for production, though panels normally arrive sooner!
Once you order I will contact you about creating together your special scene. Choose two buildings and tell me about any flowers, or pets that you might like to include. Then let me use my creativity to produce your beautiful bespoke panel.
These panels make a thoughtful, totally unique gift and a truly wonderful way to remember your special day!
