Welcome to Tea & Roses, the creative world of me, Deborah Meredith! I am a decorative inspired by pattern, heritage, and the English countryside.

From my home studio on a rural farm in Shropshire, I find beauty in the simple and the storied. The soft fade of old wallpaper, the texture of weathered wood, the comfort of a well-loved chair. Every brushstroke, every handmade detail is shaped by a love of history, home, and the quiet poetry of everyday life.

At Tea & Roses, I share the things I find, paint, make, and grow. It's a celebration of the charm of slow living and timeless design. It’s a place where art and homemaking meet, where pattern tells a story, and where beauty is found in the small, thoughtful moments that make a house feel like home.

I am trained in Art & Design and Conservation & Restoration. I began my business Tea & Roses over 15 years ago hiring out my vast collection of vintage china for event. This lead me to start my High Street shop and coffee shop in the pretty market town of Bridgnorth in Shropshire. After 15 busy busy years, I decided it was time to return home to the working farm where I now run our holiday barns business and spend my time with cats, dog and chickens!

Each piece I paint is full of my experience and love of all things old and the slow pace of the countryside.
