Stunning handcrafted crochet throw in a beautiful dusky purple/mauve tone - and this is properly substantial in size.
This isn’t your standard throw - at approximately 120cm x 290cm, this is large enough to cover a full double bed or drape generously across a large sofa. The sheer scale of this piece means it took considerable time and skill to create - this is 8-10 weeks of work, not an afternoon project.
Made using traditional crochet techniques with a lovely textured stitch pattern that creates depth and visual interest.
The open crochet allows it to work year-round - substantial enough for warmth but breathable enough not to overheat. The dusky purple/mauve colour is sophisticated without being overly bold - muted enough to work in most settings but with enough colour to make a statement.
Made with quality yarn, 80% wool, 20% acrylic.
Each throw takes considerable time and genuine skill to make, meaning yours is properly handmade with care rather than mass-produced.
Perfect for beds, large sofas, or as a genuine statement piece. The colour works beautifully with greys, creams, duck egg blues, and other soft neutrals.
