Although they're still freshwater pearls and originate from China, the ones used in this pendant are coloured to resemble natural Tahitian peacock pearls.

Full description
The striking peacock coloured freshwater pearl used on this pendant features shades of deep violet, blue, and green with an iridescent luster that shifts in the light. I work with all kinds of irregular shaped pearls, I find their shapes interesting and I love to experiment with adding other elements to my pendants and see where my creative mind takes me.
I've added a sterling silver wirework spiral to the top of this teardrop shaped pearl and a tiny white topaz stone charm to the bottom, which also has facets that catch the light. The pendant's suspended from a delicate 1mm sterling silver curb chain with an extender that features a tiny peacock coloured pearl.
