The rose fabric was originally a summer dress worn by my daughter Rosie when she was about 5. It was passed on to her by my lovely friend Mary, after her daughter Laura had grown out of it. It had short sleeves, a plain neckline with no collar, a slightly gathered skirt at the waist, and little wooden buttons down the front.
Daughter number 3, Jojo, wore it occasionally, but not as often as Rosie did, and after Jojo grew out of it, I cut it up and added it to my fabric pile, waiting for it's next chapter.

The Astrid is soft, romantic and full of charm. This pale pink preloved denim jacket is brought to life with fabric adorned in delicate roses, the kind that conjure memories of summers in the garden, picnic blankets and beautiful scents.

I believe in sustainable fashion, so all of the jackets are second-hand when they come to me. I always make sure they are in excellent condition before I begin their transformation.
