My inspiration for the La Baleine Earrings comes from the symbolism of the whale—La Baleine—representing strength, wisdom, and the mysteries beneath the sea.
The whale’s journey between the surface and the depths reflects a search for hidden beauty and imagination. Including cowrie shells further connects the piece to the ocean, as cowries are ancient symbols of the sea’s magic and feminine power.
Designing these earrings, I wanted to capture a sense of wonder and the ocean’s enchanting secrets. The cowrie shell reminds us of the treasures and stories the sea holds, echoing La Baleine’s powerful, mysterious spirit and the idea that true beauty exists both above and below the surface.

Customisable Beading Palette: Create your perfect pair! Personalise your earrings by choosing up to 3 seed bead colours from our numbered colour guide (see product images). When placing your order, please add your selected numbers in the order you’d like them arranged, from top to bottom. Example: Blue (2), Gold (6), White (10) would be noted as: 2, 6, 10.
