Inspired by the old story of the Holly King, according to Pagan beliefs, the Holly King would fight the Oak King throughout the year. The Holly King wins the battle at the Autumn Equinox and his strength peaks at the Winter Solstice (also known as Yule). The original art work has been printed on to smooth white card and comes with matching envelope. Originally created using stitching in to paper, wax markers and paints, this printed card is perfect to wish your favourite nature lover a happy Yuletide.
