Once upon a time I made a sock doll and as soon as I had finished it it went into the bin . That was a long time ago!
I watched a brief tutorial last week on making sock dolls- I then dreamt of making a similar type of doll but made from jumpers - strangely enough my dream was pretty much a tutorial and when I made this young lady ,I knew exactly what to do !!!

Full description
This sweet young lady has been made from 2 cardigans found in a local charity shop. The dolls face ,skirt and socks have been made from a 100% fine knit cotton and the body and hat are 100% Merino wool. She has little boot button glass eyes and gently flushed cheeks. The entire dolly has been hand stitched.
She has a ceramic heart around her neck made by Jackie Swire.
She is about 47cms overall and is about 22cms sitting.
She is made as a collectable and is not suitable for children. X
