This pendant was created from a series of moulds I made from flowers and plants in my garden over the course of a year. This piece was made with a verbena flower - and I think it has translated into an interesting piece. I like the fact that taking inspiration directly from nature gives us a point of connection and grounding to the natural world.

Full description
This is a silver pendant made using a mould of a verbena flower . It hangs from a 20 inch sterling silver chain on a twist of silver wire, embellished with a fluorite bead. The pendant has been given a light patina to bring out the details in the flower. Then burnished and polished to a soft sheen to create a lovely tactile piece.
The pendant has been made with great care and the elements that show that this was a hand made item are intentional . My aim is to make jewellery that shows that it was made by hand and didn't roll off a machine.
