This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A new design for autumn 2020 to celebrate the glorious colours of the leaves.
I've designed this as an abstract ring with leaf shapes spiralling round to a central core of gorgeously golden dichroic glass. The leaf shapes are red, amber, gold, orange and yellow and the suncatcher is beautifully bright.
I think it is quite stunning and very special and hope you do too .
The ring is framed with a strengthening border of twisted wire.
This is beautifully bright and cheerful and casts lovely colours when it hangs in the light of a window.
It is 14.5 cm in diameter and hangs from a strong silvery chain which is securely attached at either side of the top.
My pieces are all unique. I use different shades and textures of glass to ensure that everything I make, even when to the same pattern, is different.
