I wanted to make an original design using several hand dyed merino yarns that had the most beautiful unique mix of shades and colours. I called this pattern Elsie after the woman who taught me to knit as a child.

Full description
Adult sized hat to fit a medium - small adult. This one of a kind beanie is hand knit in 100% pure merino wool, including unique hand dyed yarns.
Your hat will be warm and light to wear and Merino wool is great at regulating body heat, so you don't get too hot. It's also odour resistant, so doesn't need washing as much.
It is topped with an optional medium sized faux fur pompom that is removable. But you prefer it without just select the appropriate option.
Although the yarn manufacturer says it can be very gently hand-washed in cool water, I would recommend spot cleaning first, due to the mix of light and dark colours. Please removed the pompom before washing the hat and dry flat if possible to keep its shape.
Please be aware that all screens are different and there my be some variations in colour with the actual product.
