Full description
This stunning Red-legged partridge was introduced to Britain from France. A ground dwelling bird is beautifully coloured with ombre blues, grey and brown feathers which just melt into each other, with black dotting around the neck and fabulous striped wings, this bird is captivating and handsome. All hand-painted he stands on a mossy log surrounded by autumn leaves and low hanging pears. A dark ombre grey background inside the garland makes the partridge and touches of snow stand out in this winter Christmas scene, with a few glass gems and silver glitter to add that extra sparkle.
This card is also available in a pack of four cards with the owl, robin, and pheasant.
