May I present to you Stanley, the Scruffy Wolf. Stanley loves to spend his spare time chasing things: shiny beetles; his own tail; that pesky squirrel that keeps throwing acorns at him. Stanley can also occasionally be found dressed up in old ladies clothes, pretending to be Grandma...but we don’t talk about that.
I made Stanley by needle felting, using natural wool fibres. His nose and eyes are made from Silk Clay and legs have wire armature inside. The rest is 100% wool.
Dimensions: 15cm x 9cm x 9cm approx.
Needle felting is the process of using specially designed barbed needles to manipulate wool fibres into 3d objects, such as soft sculpture figurines, or into a solid fabric. It is quite a long process and patience is needed but it is so absorbing, very rewarding and thoroughly enjoyable!
Please note that Stanley is not a childs toy.
I always use compostable gift wrap and packaging.
