My C1 game draws its primary inspiration from my previous geometric-based games, specifically ALTAR and AXIOM, and from traditional chess-style mechanics. A central design idea comes from the concept of a playing surface that is not static, The game involves no luck or hidden information, focusing purely on skill, logic, and forward planning. Although an abstract game I feel C1 contains distant memories of walled gardens, and geometric topiary.

Full description
C1 (or Cone) is a game for the lovers of chess and other strategy board games, with few rules, and a great many possibilities. In C1, each player controls 1 Cone, 4 Pyramids and 10 Tiles, in a duel to capture a Cone. With a creative twist to the form, the playing pieces are all immortal while the play space itself shifts and gradually disappears. This offers a new landscape of possibilities where new strategies and logic can flourish.
I have been making Perspex furniture and lighting for many years, so the first C1 game boards were made from Perspex only. New versions will be added to the list below, and photos will follow. 2. Matt black & white Perspex on translucent 5mm Perspex base. With cast rubber Cone & Pyramids
3. Matt black & white Perspex on 4mm Cherry veneered base. With cast rubber Cone & Pyramids
4. Matt black & white Perspex on 1.5mm aluminum finished with a fine abrasive. With cast rubber Cone & Pyramids.
