Inspired by the beginning of Autumn I set off into nature and collected some fallen leaves. I started by monoprinting these onto the paper and continued to imagine a quiet autumn scene that gave me the feeling of walking around my local nature spots in Oxfordshire.

Full description
An original acrylic painting on paper complete in white A4 frame. Signed by the artist and varnished. Total size including the A4 frame is 31cm x 22.5cm (12 x 9 inches). The painting itself within its mount is 18.5 x 13.5 cm (7.25 x 5.25 inches).
The first of four paintings in my Autumn Glow 2025 series is finished and up for sale. It's progress to completion has been featured on my YouTube Channel (deadartstudios) and is made form multiple thin layers of acrylic paint and gloss medium to give the painting a autumn glow. It is made using all my hallmark Deadartstudios techniques including; blade work, brushes and monoprinting. The first layers were laid down directly from printing with autumn leaves collected from nature. It shows an imagined and intuitively created semi abstracted landscape scene, featuring water and surrounding flora.
