I paint cool looking things

Hi, I am Robert of Deadartstudios. I have always had an interest in Modern and Contemporary painting. I worked as a scientist and academic but now I am a full time parent to my wonderful daughter Amelia. When she goes to bed I paint. I like all types of painting but personally I enjoy making expressionistic and abstract paintings that often start as scenes and landscapes in my mind. I also believe in the importance of technique and process shaping the work and the way it looks. I want you to be able to hang something unique and beautiful in your home or space. Much of my work is in acrylic but I also paint with oil and mixed media such as collage.
