I made this print as a little homage to incredible whales. I specifically chose Fin, Sperm, Humpback and Minke whales because they are the species visiting our British waters. I find it amazing to think that these beautiful and mysterious giants of the deep blue sea are regularly passing our little islands. They’re only seen on a few magical occasions but just enough to let us know they’re still out there, and I hope they always will be.

Handcarved and handprinted linocut featuring 4 species of whale one above the other.
For this original linoprint I have used A4 300gsm acid free paper and archival teal ink.
This item will be shipped to you from Guernsey, unframed, with cardboard backing for protection. My whole process aims to be plastic free, so I use either glassine paper or biodegradable/compostable cellophane to wrap each print. I use cardboard packing materials that are preloved and/or recyclable.
