I wanted a gemstone version of my glass snowmen and decided crackle Quartz would make a lovely snowman body!
Crackle Quartz is white Quartz that has been heat-treated then water-cooled to produce a network of tiny fractures.
The result is a beautifully sparkly stone that looks like crushed ice, and combines well with the Iolite and Hematite beads used for the scarf and hat.
His head is a mother of pearl shell bead that has a lovely sheen.
Perfect for these cute little snowmen!
These would make a lovely Secret Santa gift, stocking filler, or treat for yourself.

A gemstone version of my glass snowmen earrings.
Each of these cute little snowman earrings is made from an 8mm crackle Quartz bead for his body and a 5mm mother of pearl shell bead for his head.
He wears a 4mm violet coloured faceted Iolite rondelle for his scarf and a hat made from a 6mm Hematite rondelle and a 4mm Hematite cube .
He hangs from gold vermeil ear-wires - or is he walking in the air?
Gold vermeil is sterling silver that has been plated with 18K gold.
Dainty and lightweight, perfect for festive parties, they would make a lovely stocking filler, Secret Santa gift or treat for yourself.
He is approximately an inch long (2.5cm) long, excluding the wires.
Your snowman earrings will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a small organza gift bag.
Price includes delivery within mainland UK.
