Full description
A large (20cm) tablespoon handstamped along the edges of the bowl with I'D RATHER BE ON THE EDGE THAN IN THE MIDDLE in 1.5mm block capital lettering coloured black with water-based acrylic ink.
This spoon might make a good present for an artist, a subversive, someone non-neurotypical or a proper eccentric. It's a nice heavy oldfashioned 'rat tail' spoon (look at the back; this is a design hangover from when spoons used to be made in two parts), silver-plated, used and a bit worn as you can see. I haven't removed all of the patina as I like the 'antiqued' look but if you wanted to make it shinier you could do so with a little silver polish and some elbow grease.
