Did you know the tale of when Father Christmas lost his toy sack. So a very clever elf suggested using Mrs Christmas's old boot and saved the day.
The Chiristmas boot is hand and machine stitched in unbleached cotton and hand painted for an aged vintage look.
Victorian bone buttons (taken from Victorian labourers shirts) found at a vintage flea market decorate one side of the boot. Filled with Christmassy things like a crescent moon with hat, a wee Christmas tree, a little nutcracker soldier, miniature books, a rabbit pull toy, and a hare leaping out with his little bell. A pair of tiny ice-skates dangle merrily from the tongue of the boot, and a wooden Christmas wreath hangs on the back. Peppered with glitter frost the boot is mounted on a wooden base.
A wonderfully original piece which you can bring out for many a Christmas to come. Or maybe the perfect gift for those who love a bit of Christmas magic.
