I have always wanted to make use of the many half dolls I see at flea markets. This is the first result and there will hopefully be many more. I love her!

Full description
This lovely pin doll’s overskirt is decorated with hand pieced hexagons using the EPP (English paper piecing) method along with free hand embroidery. She has a cotton lace underskirt. Her cushion is filled with British wool stuffing along with a wooden disc for stability. This piece took quite a few hours to construct, but I enjoyed the process so much! She would make a beautiful heirloom gift for anyone who enjoys sewing, or just loves pretty objects. She will be delivered in a tissue-lined box.
