Working in slate is what I do, so seeing all the Engine Houses around me it seemed only natural to make some, I love working in a small scale (from years of model making) so this is the result.

Full description
A tiny Cornish Engine House on a hill, framed in slate.
The engine house is hand cut from Devonian Mudstone, a lovely soft beach tumbled stone which being from mud and very fine enable me to engrave and carve great detail into designs.
It is free standing or can be hung from a wall.
