I always woke on Christmas morning to find a bear sitting at the bottom of my bed so bears have always been a tradition during my growing up. I made cheap fabric bears often out of old clothes and later for many years made antique style mohair bears.

Full description
This new addition to my bear collection is Officer Teddy . He measures 10" (25cm) sitting and is knitted in two alpaca and mohair yarns to create this warm gold colour.
His body is filled with a heavy stuffing to give him a nice balance for sitting. He has a hand embroidered silk thread nose.
He proudly wears his naval colours of red white and blue. His jumper is knitted in a soft cotton yarn with a strand of mohair. His cap in the traditional blue and white with gold trim and a hand embroidered anchor.
His jumper cannot be removed.
The bear has jointed arms and legs so you have some movement for positioning.
