An updated print of my 2019 image of St Peters Square, with more mature trees.
Features Manchester Town Hall, the Central Library and the flamboyant Midland Hotel, built to serve the former adjacent railway station The building styles range from Victorian neo-gothic, through to neo-classical, gothic revival, Edwardian baroque and 21st century.
Within the square sits the Manchester Cenotaph (First World War memorial), the stone cross commemorating the former St Peters Church, the Emmeline Pankhurst statue (unveiled in 2018) and the new Metrolink station. And lots of Foxglove trees
The site site of the 1819 Peterloo Massacre lies behind the Midland Hotel.
A3 (420mm x 297mm)limited edition print (out of 25), signed by the artist.
Printed onto soft white slightly textured Fabriano Accademia archival paper.
Price excludes frame.
Delivered carefully packaged in a cardboard tube.
