Welcome to my Folksy Shop. Most of my work is inspired by Nature and Seasons, with a whimsical touch. I create original textile art, hanging decorations, cards and gifts, using a combination of fabric applique, free motion machine embroidery, hand embroidery and paint.
A lot of my designs are carefully photographed and printed onto cards and bookmarks. make gifts and accessories using Free Motion and Hand Embroidery Techniques.

Decorate your house or Christmas Tree with these cute Candy Cane Decorations
Each Candy Cane is handcrafted with love, thread and off cotton fabric, designed and hand cut by me, in my garden studio. They also have the added detail of a green satin ribbon bow with a green satin ribbon loop for hanging.
Stitching details are created with a freehand machine embroidery technique incorporating fabric applique on a white felt background.
The design gives the perfect touch of sweet magic to the festive season.
Please note, that as they are handmade they may differ slightly from the photo, but this gives each one it’s unique character.
