Welcome to my Folksy Shop. Most of my work is inspired by Nature and Seasons, with a whimsical touch. I create original textile art, hanging decorations, cards and gifts, using a combination of fabric applique, free motion machine embroidery, hand embroidery and paint.
A lot of my designs are carefully photographed and printed onto cards and bookmarks. make gifts and accessories using Free Motion and Hand Embroidery Techniques.
Watching my children grow up loving candy canes and fairies, I decided what better than to combine them

Decorate your house or Christmas Tree with these cute Candy Cane Fairies
Each Fairy Decoration is handcrafted with love, thread and off cuts of fabrics and designed and hand cut by me, in my garden studio. She also has added details, such as a candy cane in her sparkly hair with a bow and she carries a shiney candy cane.
Stitching details are created with a freehand machine embroidery technique incorporating fabric applique and a satin ribbon to hang in your chosen spot.
The design gives the perfect touch to a magical time of year.
Please note, that as they are handmade they may differ slightly from the photo, but this gives each one it’s unique character.
