Hi, I'm Bekki. Welcome to my shop

My Wildflower textile art purse was nominated for the National Needlecraft Award 2019 for 'best use of embroidery in fashion and accessories'. Check out my new textile art purse collection

A family member who has an invisible disability told me she wished she had a badge that said “no, I don’t feel better, no, I don’t want to talk about it”. These brooches were my answer. They can be worn to let people know how you feel with no explanation necessary

Full description

A lavender coloured wool felt brooch with ‘ouch’ embroidered in hot pink with a bunch of daises stitched as though the ‘u’ was a vase.

Part of my health awareness collection this pretty little brooch can be used as a disability awareness or mental health awareness badge or just as a quirky and fun brooch as it is cute enough to wear any time.

It can be worn as a subtle way to let people know when you are struggling without having to give explanations. You don’t have to tell everybody what the word means to you, just share with those who you need support from and wear on those days when you need your cheerleaders the most.

Stitched onto thick wool felt using lavender thread so it is nice and sturdy. It has a standard metal brooch back

Measurements approx.

3 cm
