This was a painting I did at the start of the summer, missing my usual seasonal outings as I recovered from surgery. New Brighton lighthouse and beach is always a great spot for sunsets and for a walk, and I wanted to capture the colours and textures of the sea to make a piece conveying my enjoyment of it.

Full description
This is an A4 print of my painting New Brighton (also featured on my greetings cards with a silk fnish), using 300 gsm matte card.
The original painting was mainly done using acrylics, as well as pen and water soluble wax pastels. It features a sunset over New Brighton lighthouse on the Wirral, as the waves of the sea crash around the rocks.
