My love for the coast and folklore inspired these pieces. The merfolk are from my own imagination and I have enjoyed creating their poses to display their unique features.

Full description
Hand sculpted from stoneware clay. Each mermaid figure is different, and each has been decorated using underglazes and matt finish clear. Each piece is textures and natural shells have been used to create moulds in which I have created each mermaids unusual shell like face. Each shell is glazed using a glaze that contains crystals that bust into yellows, pinks and browns.
