Using organic casting techniques is quite exciting because you never know what you're going to end up with as you pour the molten silver over your chosen items. It can be quite challenging to come up with designs that work with your molten pieces to create wearable jewellery and I like to use my imagination when making jewellery to create something that is one off. This technique allows me to do that and will be used in more of my jewellery.

A beautiful column of pink Kunzite is held in molten sterling silver to create a pendant which I've hung from a sterling silver snake chain necklace of 20 inches.
The Kunzite is a pale pinky violet colour and a triangular column shape. I have used melted recycled sterling silver to form a natural design to hold the piece of Kunzite. It looks like it has been poured over the Kunzite, encasing it in silver.
The pendant measures 57 mm in length and roughly 9mm in width at the widest part.
Kunzite is a very gentle peaceful stone. It represents unconditional love and is supposed to help aid in emotional healing. It is s tone of the heart chakra.
To help you look after and care for the pendant I will provide a box and little piece of polishing cloth for you to use. I advise you to keep it in its box when not worn and don't wear when in water. If using perfumes or lotions please don't allow the solution to go on the pendant. This will keep it at its best for you.
