itrine is the yellow form of Quartz, and gets its colour from traces of iron in the Quartz.
It is the birthstone for November and Scorpio.
Natural Citrine is usually a pale lemon colour - deeper yellow and orange-yellow stones are generally produced by heat-treating Amethyst.
These un-treated nuggets have a pale lemon colour, semi-translucent with milky inclusions, while the AAA grade faceted beads are translucent with a hint of sparkle.
Citrine is thought to bring happiness and abundance, to absorb and ground all negative energy and replace it with positive energy.
Known as the 'merchant's stone', it is believed to attract wealth and good fortune.

Pretty hand made bag charm on a lobster clasp swivel clip that can be attached to your handbag, keyring etc.
Attached to the clasp are three dangles featuring: a gold plated rose charm topped with five Amethyst beads, a Citrine nugget topped with an Amethyst, a gold Tibetan flower bead and three faceted Citrine beads, and a Citrine nugget topped with a pair of Amethyst beads, Tibetan flower bead and five faceted Citrine beads.
The natural Citrine nuggets are translucent with beautiful clarity, and measure approximately 8x9mm.
The tiny 2.75mm faceted Citrine beads are AAA grade add a subtle glint.
The 3mm and 4mm translucent Amethyst beads have a lovely purple hue.
The shiny rose charm measures approximately 12mm and is gold plated.
The 5mm flower beads are Tibetan silver with an antique gold finish.
The lobster clasp is gold plated, and is 1.25 inches (32mm) in length.
This pretty bag accessory would make a lovely gift for an anniversary, birthday, Valentine's, Secret Santa or stocking filler. It would be particularly appropriate for a November birthday as Citrine is the birthstone for November and Scorpio.
The total length is approximately 2.75 inches (7cm).
