Welcome to my Folksy Shop. Most of my work is inspired by Nature and Seasons, with a whimsical touch. I create original textile art, hanging decorations, cards and gifts, using a combination of fabric applique, free motion machine embroidery, hand embroidery and paint.
A lot of my designs are carefully photographed and printed onto cards and bookmarks. make gifts and accessories using Free Motion and Hand Embroidery Techniques.
Halloween of course inspired me for this piece.

Witch Hanging Decoration
Each Witch is handcrafted with love, thread and off cuts of fabric, sitting on a wool/mix felt background, with Embroidered and Applique Details, which has the perfect touch of whimsical encapsulating a touch of magic and perfect for Halloween
The stitching details are created by freehand machine, free motion embroidery incorporating fabric applique.
Please note, that as they are handmade they may differ slightly from the photo, but this gives each one it’s unique character.
Approximately 12 cm x 7.5 cm (with ribbon loop 17 cm)
