This design was inspired by the image of a guardian cat of the forest, crowned beneath the moon like a silent keeper of small magics. I wanted to capture that feeling of stillness found in nature at night — when the world is hushed, the moon is watching, and even the smallest creature feels like part of a greater spell.
It’s a tribute to intuition, independence and quiet magic, etched into slate to honour both earth and sky.

This hand-finished slate board features a beautifully detailed crowned cat beneath the crescent moon, surrounded by mushrooms, forest grasses and nestled crystals. Each piece is laser-etched onto natural slate, allowing the texture and depth of the stone to enhance the artwork with an earthy, mystical feel.
