Full description
Original Artwork in Embroidery Hoop. A homegrown and pressed Dill flower has been used to create this Cyanotype in the Hampshire sunshine, made on natural cotton fabric and embraced by a Beech wooden hoop. The delicate detail of the flower seed head is set against the mottled effect of blues created by using the wet Cyanotype technique. The back is finished with white felt, and a ribbon is added to hang the hoop, or it can be placed on a shelf or dresser.

This hoop is named 'Sammi ' and is numbered and is an original artwork. It measures approximately 6”.
The beech hoop is British-made and lightly waxed to protect it. The Hoop comes carefully protected in a clear bag, and care instructions are included- dust only, do not wash. As with all art, it should be displayed out of direct sunlight and not in areas of high humidity, such as bathrooms. It will be posted in a protective box.
