The inspiration for this piece came from the porcelain itself — its faded patterns reminded me of water currents and waves.
Though once part of something entirely different, the sea reshaped it into a smooth, organic form. I wanted to honour that transformation by surrounding it with white beads and soutache, keeping its story alive.
This amulet carries the memory of the ocean — calm on the surface, yet full of movement beneath.

Full description
This unique white amulet was created from a fragment of porcelain found in the sea near Edinburgh, Scotland — a piece of history softened and reshaped by the waves.
Decorated with white soutache braid and a variety of delicate glass beads, it celebrates the quiet beauty of imperfection and the poetry of transformation.
The porcelain’s surface still carries traces of its original pattern — subtle, wave-like lines that echo the sea that returned it to me.
Handmade with care, this amulet combines the fragility of porcelain with the strength of nature, becoming a symbol of renewal and gentle power.
