Under the Sea is a one-of-a-kind handmade quilted vest crafted from repurposed textiles, deadstock cotton, and fabric remnants. Inspired by the ocean, this sustainable piece features calming blue tones, subtle green and turquoise accents, and a delicate shell-print cotton.
Made from a secondhand cotton shirt, deadstock poplin, and printed cotton remnant, the vest is filled with breathable, UK-sourced 100% cotton wadding for warmth and comfort. It’s finished with six reclaimed buttons and handmade loops for a thoughtful, artisanal touch.
Designed with bust darts and a gentle A-line shape, it offers a flattering fit and comfort with a padded collar to block drafts. Two lined front pockets add practicality, while a central placket gives structure. An outer hem tag replaces inner labels for added comfort.
