‘Star Gazers’ was inspired by my love of celestial motifs and the stories hidden in secondhand fabrics. I wanted to create a piece that felt dreamy yet grounded — practical, comfortable, and full of quiet charm. Each appliquéd star gives new life to worn areas, celebrating repair and reinvention as part of the design, not flaws to hide. It’s a vest for stargazers, daydreamers, and lovers of slow fashion.

‘Star Gazers’ is a unique, handmade quilted vest crafted from a repurposed cotton-viscose dress featuring a dreamy celestial print. This piece celebrates slow, sustainable fashion by transforming once-worn fabrics into a stylish, functional garment full of character.
Faded areas of the original dress have been carefully reimagined with hand-appliquéd stars made from fabric offcuts and remnants. Each star patch adds personality and tells a story, making this vest a true work of secondhand craftsmanship.
