The inspiration for Still Life came from my fascination with natural patterns — the delicate geometry of flower petals, the organic curves of shells, and the rhythmic motifs found in textiles.
I wanted to explore how these elements echo one another: how the soft folds of petals can resemble the drape of fabric, or how the spirals of a shell mirror patterns we see in design and movement.
Through a limited palette of black, white, green, grey and indigo, I aimed to create a calm yet tactile composition — a meeting point between nature, texture and form.

Full description
“Still Life” is an original mixed-media artwork exploring the quiet beauty of natural forms — shells, leaves and organic patterns — captured in a moment of stillness.
Created using a combination of paints, inks and layered textures, this piece blends elements of realism and abstraction. The palette of black, white, green, grey and deep indigo evokes a calm atmosphere. The work reflects my fascination with the delicate balance between nature’s fragility and strength. Every brushstroke is a gesture of observation — a study of form, texture and rhythm found in the smallest details of the natural world.
Original artwork, 50 x 70 cm, framed, signed by the artist.
Perfect for art lovers who appreciate abstract art combined with still nature.
