Hi and welcome to The Old Button Supplies, where I sell stunning vintage, preloved and new fabrics and haberdashery.
I also have another shop on Folksy - The Old Button Sews - selling beautiful gifts designed and sewn by me, together with some lovely sew it yourself craft kits.
Fabric sample books are such a great source of gorgeous fabrics, and I hate to see them go to landfill when they are no longer needed. It can be tricky to deconstruct the books as the top section is layered with staples and glue, but it's worth it to see the gorgeous bundles of co-ordinated or themed fabrics at the end.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Velvets - silky, smooth, tactile and shimmery. Reclaimed from a curtain sample book that was destined for landfill before I rescued it, these modern velvet fabric pieces are ideal for craft making and patchwork. Use them to make luxurious little textile gifts, or sew them together for a cushions or bag. They would also be great for making Christmas decorations.
Lovely shades of claret red, navy blue and turquoise teal - these are short pile lightweight velvets in a mix of plains, quilted, textured and silver accents. As velvet has a directional nap, they look different depending on which way round you turn them - a stronger colour one way and more shine the other. I have tried to show this in the photos.
I carefully deconstructed the curtain book, and cut the fabric from each sheet with a rotary blade, trimming off the card edges. You may find a few small holes where the fabric was stapled into the book - there are close to the edge and you can trim them off of hide them in your seam allowance.
9 pieces of fabric - approximately one third a metre in total, the pieces vary in size from 10 by 19 cm to 22 by 24 cm.
I will be listing a similar bundles in other colours.
Zero waste - I try to use every piece of fabric in my makes or textile packs, and have kept the card edges from these curtain books to use in other crafts.
CHARITY DONATION - a minimum of £1 from each pack will be given to a local craft group.
