Full description
A fine art giclée print of my original artwork, titled Chimera II. This piece explores the idea of duality — it’s half fox, half wolf — part of an ongoing series where I blend different animals to create something new and unexpected.
The print is produced using high-quality archival inks on beautiful textured paper, with a white border (around 1/4 inch) to allow for easy mounting or framing. The detail in the print captures everything from the pencil texture to tiny marks on the original paper — a faithful reproduction of the original drawing.
The original artwork was created using Faber-Castell Polychromos and Caran d’Ache Luminance pencils on Clairefontaine Pastelmat — a surface that holds colour beautifully and brings out the richness of the tones.
Two print sizes are available: 5x7 inches and A4.
This series was inspired by those real-life chimera cats with perfectly split facial markings. I wanted to take that idea and push it further — imagining how other animals might look with that same striking symmetry. This print combines the cunning energy of a fox with the strength and wildness of a wolf.
