I have been closely watching the change of the seasons for a number of years. This year has been very special to me as I am also starting a new journey. With my harvest mice series, I wanted to celebrate the growth, change and the beauty of imperfection. Just like the seasons, these pieces remind us that nothing stays the same, and that’s perfectly fine.

Full description
This original watercolour captures the freshness of spring through the tiny world of a harvest mouse. This piece is about starting again. The first light. "Among the clover" - symbolises new beginnings, hope, and the joy of the season.
Painted with MeiLiang watercolours on Winsor & Newton cold-pressed 25% cotton paper. As these pigments are not fully lightfast, the colours may gently soften, evolve over time, just as the seasons change. I like to think of it as a living artwork, growing with its owner.
Mounted in an A4 mount with A5 window, ready to slip into a standard frame.
It's the perfect gift for a country home.
To best preserve the colours, I recommend displaying the artwork away from direct sunlight and framing with UV-protective glass.
