Full description
This small wooden Nostepinne is made from English Oak and is the ideal wool winder tool and for knitters creating their own balls of yarn.
Measuring approximately 150mm by 19mm (6" x 34"), its been hand turned and finished with natural wax.
A Nostepinne is a traditional hand held tool used to wind yarn or wool into a ball for easy weaving, crocheting or knitting. The ball of wool created by using a nostepinne is a "center pull" ball, which allows the knitter to remove the yarn from the center of the ball rather than the outside. This keeps the ball of yarn from rolling around your your work surface. Many instructional videos on using this tool can be found on Youtube.
Please note I have more than one of these available (as seen in the pictures) so yours will vary slightly from the one shown
I have other darning mushrooms and needle keepers (as seen in the last picture) which can be found in my other listings.
Thanks
Matt
